The best way taking an online course

Taking a course online and in a classroom-based environment are two quite different things . With distance learning, you supervise your own learning schedule .
The following items are decisive in the success of any e- learning.

Organizing your course schedule

Find yourself some free time and fix the dates and times in your diary.
It is better to choose times when you know you are unlikely to be disturbed.
Get your distance learning diary ready as soon as you start your course.
Set aside 20 minutes each day to check your emails when using group work tools.

Organising your work environment

Find a calm space, the online courses generally require a higher degree of concentration.
Let the people around you know that you are taking a course so as to avoid being interrupted during a training session.

The learning approach

Once you have printed out the course contents, take notes just like in a face-to-face lesson.
Make a bullet point summary at the end of each learning unit. This will help you review what you have learned and identify any points that you may not have fully understood.
Use visual aids if the course has a heavy text content, try and schematise the facts you have read.

Learning determination

Learning is an independent activity.
Keep the action going, maintain regular work sessions and a certain self-discipline.
Do not miss any virtual-classroom sessions.
