Exams and in particular Board examinations, are often associated with two basic words which are success and failure. The students, today, are running a rat race to obtain a good grade so that they increase their chances of getting in a reputed college or a university of their choice. After all, marks are being considered the ultimate criteria for judging their knowledge, skills, intelligence, and many such other key factors. Top most institutions and colleges consider exam success as their major evaluating criteria, besides, other entrance tests. Infact, the marks that you obtain in the exams are used to screen out the candidates, that is, filter out eligible ones from the lot.

Owing to the pressure, caused by numerous reasons, be it family or otherwise, the children usually end up succumbing to it. They give in, loose hope in themselves and their confidence rises to an all time low. During exams the students are bound to feel anxious, nervous, stressed out and completely drained. They need support and this support can come from their parents, teachers and their friends. They should make the child comfortable by making him believe in his capabilities, giving him advices and sharing your experiences with him. The parents need to understand the capability of their child and should avoid pressurizing him unnecessarily to obtain good grades. Comparison to other kids is also a big no as; if the child is sensitive then results could be detrimental.

If you are a student, then it is extremely important, that for exam success, try to be more resilient. Do not panic. Learn and try to understand your lessons. Focus on those lessons more that you feel you are good at. So that, should you get a question from that chapter in your exams, you are easily able to solve them. Other important point is that you should have a time-table according to which you will be. Planning what you are going to do and for how much time is extremely important. Besides, prepare yourself a little ahead of your time-table so that you do not end up wasting your time and energy on unnecessary things and your study time turns out to be fruitful. Get into the habit of making notes and points while you are going through your lessons. Also try to write whatever you have learnt so that it retains in your memory for a longer period of time. Get into the habit of revising your lessons, those that you have already learnt after a certain gap so as to ensure that you still retain it or not.

And the golden rule is never to loose faith in your capabilities. There is nothing in this world that cannot be achieved by your determination and diligence. All you need to do is to just push yourself beyond your limits and this path will lead you to exam success.
